The Davidoff brand is most closely associated with cigars, cigarettes and smoking paraphernalia. Through the 1990s, the Davidoff name was attached to a number of luxury goods and as the brand expanded, a line of fragrances for men was developed. Hot on the heels of Davidoff’s successful launch of these fragrances came a collection of ladies’ perfumes. Today, Davidoff produces a number of scents for men and women – most are complimented by a collection of lotions, deodorants and bathing products.
Cool Water was the first Davidoff perfume for women. The scent was released in 1996 and has proven popular enough to inspire a number of special and limited editions, including Cool Water Frozen, Cool Water Sea Scents and Sun, Cool Water Summer fizz and Cool Water Wave. Each revision builds on the original evocative mix of citrus fruits, pineapple, honey, rose and an air of those unique areas where the woods meet the sea. Cool Water continues to be popular with younger women, probably because seasonal variations keep Davidoff’s Cool Water at the cutting edge of perfume trends.
Another popular Davidoff perfume is Echo. Formulated to compliment Davidoff’s Echo for Men cologne, Echo Woman blends floral favourites like iris, peony and violet with spicy cinnamon and earthy wood and musk tones. Echo Woman by Davidoff is quite popular with younger women, as is the spin-off perfume Echo Women Summer. Echo Women Summer includes a lighter floral blend, along with a dash of citrus and a drop of mint. Echo offers women an exquisite fragrance that lingers ever so slightly wherever she goes.
Good Life is another of Davidoff’s popular women’s perfume. The fragrance harnesses the lush tones of fig wood, ylang ylang, ambergris, jasmine, magnolia, a dash of citrus fruits and sandalwood to produce a warm floral fragrnce with an air of harmony. Good Life by Davidoff is popular with a more mature set of women, probably because it offers a refined bouquet that reflects the values and style of an independent woman established in her lifestyle.
The various Davidoff perfumes and their associated products are available from perfume counters and discount perfume stores online, as well as those more traditional high street outlets. When shopping for Davidoff perfume products online, you can usually rely on reputable merchants with a proven track record for authentic merchandise. The Davidoff brand was subject to a number of counterfeiting issues through the 1990s, but several legal disputes helped to establish thorough quality assessment and better guarantees of authenticity in all Davidoff products, including Davidoff’s perfume for women.
